Shadowseer: London (Shadowseer Book 1)

Details: The story of Kaia, a 17-year-old orphan growing up in Victorian London in the 1850s, is told in Shadowseer: London (book one). Kaia longs to leave her dreadful orphanage, to learn more about her parents, and to figure out why she can detect shadows but others can't. The streets of London, however, are just as harsh as the orphanage, and Kaia has no simple path out.
